Silvia Cuesta (Sitges)

Dancer, choreographer and director of the Dansa 6 company, with an international career started in 1988 in Paris. She has worked with renowned companies and has developed an artistic line that intertwines movement, costumes and set design with an ecological outlook. Her project investigates the relationship between body, identity, territory and sustainability, promoting textile reuse on stage. Her work seeks to inspire awareness through art and poetic gesture.

Sandra Miralles “Sandroide” (Barcelona)

Multidisciplinary artist, writer and cultural agitator from Barcelona, specialized in speculative science fiction from an ecofeminist and critical perspective. Creator of the narrative universe neobarna.net, she explores possible futures for the city of Barcelona, traversed by the climate crisis, artificial intelligence and resistance networks. It combines narrative, music, performance and sound activism in proposals such as the Futurist Sonic Front. Her work seeks to imagine other possible realities from art.

Théâtre de l’Alambre / Didier Maes (Bèlgica / Madrid)

A Belgian artist based in the Serra Nord of Madrid, Didier Maes combines performing arts, sculpture and creative recycling. Founder of the Théâtre de l’Alambre, he creates visual shows that mix theatre of objects, puppets and poetry of the movement. His works reuse everyday materials, providing them with new narratives with ecological sensitivity. He has presented his work in Spain, Belgium and France, and develops projects in educational and community contexts.

Macarena Pinilla

She is a visual artist based in Sitges, exploring the connection between human beings and nature. Her abstract work emerges from meditative observation of the environment. She investigates cyclical forms shared with other living beings and reflects on the distorted relationship between society and the natural world.

RichHARD HoffMAN

Born in London and based in Sitges, his work is a visual satire infused with British humor. He subverts institutional symbols and formats, such as postage stamps, to address social issues with wit and critique. He has exhibited internationally in cities such as Miami, Singapore, and New York.

Francesc Miralles - El Drapaire musical (Tàrrega)

Actor, animator, educator, inventor, he has been creating workshops, installations and environmental education shows for more than 30 years. The character of the Drapaire Musical was born in 1989 with the intention of using waste materials and everyday objects to make sounds and music. Over the years, different shows, workshops and installations have emerged from this project, always with a participatory and interactive character.

Centre d’Estudis del Mar, CEM

The Sitges Center for Sea Studies is an environmental education facility that works to disseminate and preserve the values of marine ecosystems. Created in 1983, it is the first marine environmental education center in the state and on its 40th anniversary it maintains the objective of sensitizing the more than 12,000 annual visitors in the context of climate emergency and the crisis of biodiversity.

Associació Cetàcea (Sitges)

A non-profit organization based in Sitges dedicated to the study, dissemination and conservation of cetaceans in the Mediterranean. Its work includes scientific outings, educational programs and awareness actions on marine pollution, especially plastics. They collaborate with public and private entities to promote responsible tourism and citizenship committed to the protection of the sea. His work combines science, outreach and environmental activism.

PhD in Applied Etnobotany. Writer of the book No Weed on Urban Biodiversity. Professor in EINA of Degree in Design and Official Master. He has extensive experience in innovation projects, design management and scientific-technical communication. Study of Biology and Industrial Ecology. His life is between nature and design. He likes to write and teach what he knows. You are learning to see the good side of life.
